Gulu University Graduation Ceremony Date 2018: The Gulu graduation ceremony date and schedule for 2018 has been announced.
The Office of the Registrar, Gulu University has released the graduation date for graduating students for 2019.

The academic registrar of Gulu University, Mr Jerry Bagaya, has announced the graduation date for the Northern based-Gulu university. In a letter that was released today, the academic registrar announced that the 14th Graduation Ceremony will take place on Saturday 19th January 2019at Gulu University Main campus.
The Students, who finished their academic courses in May/June 2018, have been in and out of university premises looking for answers about the graduation date and details on clearance. This letter puts an end to the ‘unrest’.
The prospective Graduands are to pay a graduation-related fee of a sum of 130,000/= before they can be allowed to graduate. “Note that the graduation related fee: Graduation 100,000/=, Convocation 10,000/=, Transcript 10,000/=, Certificate 10,000/=”, reads a section of the announcement. The payments are to be made in an online payment system at payments.gu.ac.ug.
The academic registrar informed the prospective graduates that they will have to cater for their own graduation gowns and samples of the gowns are available for viewing at the Admissions Office, Department of Academic registrar. The students must also submit a recent passport-sized photo to the transport office.
“AR said that we should expect clearance of students to start as soon as the announcement is made. But some faculties claim that they are still handling exams. But Ianticipate that next week, clearance should be in progress”,said H. E Mbaziira Daniel the Guild President.
Collection of graduation cards and other graduationmaterials will be done from January 14-17th. “…students who will have completed payment of fees and have cleared by 11th January 2019, will be presented for graduation”, reads a section of theannouncement.
